Just found out that a long time hammock hanger Loki passed today. First time I met him was at my first group hang at Hot Springs NC about 14 years ago.

Loki an eternal hammock camping friend, raconteur, and coffee aficionado. We miss you Loki.
Steve texted our chat group of Loki’s passing. While talking with Bob, memories came back of all the different places we had all camped together with Loki.
My condolences to those of you who knew Loki well. I never had the chance to meet him although Phantom told me plenty of stories about his antics. Hope he is at rest now.
hate to here about this ive camped with him a few times a great guy my heart goes out to his family

Man, I'm bummed to hear this. Last time I saw him was at hangcon, guess a few years now at sertoma youth ranch. He would come down here to fla for the hangs. He was a real nice guy, easy to talk to. Glad I got to know him a little bit. I know he had a daughter as we would talk about our daughters and what they had going on.
Got to hang out with Loki a few times. He and Running Feather (RIP) shuttled me and Hickery to one end of the Art Loeb Trail. They were a hoot together.
May you enjoy hanging on the other side of life Loki.
