I use the Celcius version: r1 - (21 - r2) and it's pretty accurate (for me) but a lot depends on the individual and their condition - wet, exhausted, etc. so I'd chose a night or two that are forecast to be a bit warmer than the table shows for your combination to dial things in. That also depends on your experience in deep cold, once you get well below freezing things begin to get serious quite quickly.
