Check carefully where there are moving parts. It's all in the word, "swing". Ah, there's the rub. So make sure you are just using the Amsteel to hold two things rather than move against something.

Oh yes; the eye is only there to hold a stainless thimble. There will be no rubbing of rope against parts.

The smaller is called the SuperMini. Note that for a little more elegance, and not a lot of money, you can have something - like hammock type (Trail Lair, etc.) - etched on the ring.
