    Side Bungee Pullouts

Do you always use these? I decided to try without and didn't notice a difference other than I didn't have a cord blocking my path around the hammock. My hammock is the 4 Season Explorer with the internal pad so I guess it helps keeping the hammock splayed.

Depends. On my DW hammocks, not really needed...on a Warbonnet, with the bugnet design it really helps.

I did a few times years ago but now...no...never do.
    Though for a bugnet pull-out I will.

I used them with my Hennesey the first time out back in 2005. But didn't see a benefit to using them and I think underquilts perform better without them.

My experience as well. Except I'm old - 2002 or 3 for me

I have started to with my DW chameleon wide but just on the left side head end to keep the mesh out of my face.
