Is there a correlation between lay preference and handedness?

Hello all,
Delighted to be kicking around with a new hobby these days. I'm wondering - do left-handers generally prefer a left lay, and right-handers a right lay? The majority of ready-to-order asyms I've looked at seem to be right lay, and perhaps that's a reflection of the majority of people being right-handed, thus prefering a right lay. Just curious about it. -Rata

I'm left-eye dominant and write/eat left-handed, but am rather ambidextrous in many activities. As such, I sleep north-south in my right-lay hammock and cross my arms like Count Dracula.

Truthfully, I don't know if I have a preference since I've only ever owned a right-lay hammock.

I’m left handed and prefer left lay, that is my feet to left.
If I sleep right lay, then all my dreams play out backwards, as if film is rewinding from end, back to beginning.

Joking aside, sometimes I nap Brahma Bull lay.
One foot on one side and one foot on other side.
I’m in-line with hammock, in a straddling position, as if riding a rodeo bull. And just got bucked back, and still holding on for dear life.

My wife mildly prefers feet left vs feet right. I feel like I'm going to fall immediately when I go feet left. We're both right handed.
