I've been following on here for a year or so now, my first post. Been hanging for about 5 years. My favorite hang was on a beach in HI, but my favorite time of the year to hang is in the winter in the snow. I use a Chameleon in the summer and standard Hammock Gear hammock in the winter. I also have a Henessey Hammock I call my utility hammock, used more when camping isn't the main purpose. I really do enjoy hanging year round though and always looking at new gear.

Dukebaby, good to hear from an experienced hammock camper. I camp year round too, if no scheduled group car camping, each month, a small group backpack, a few days in forests.
