This is one group hand everyone gravitates towards 2x a year (the time-change weekend in the Spring & Fall). Great people, loads of forest to space out the hammocks, tall tales told around the campfire every night. A fun experience all around. Well we can’t make this one, Georgia Girl is still dealing with pain issues keeping her from walking. Yes, we are seeing plenty of medical people, but the solution to this puzzle is still eluding us. Just know that we will surely miss seeing everybody. Have fun for us!

Everyone has their favorite fire—You will see both at Yates—ah er more or less. Although many can build a tipi fire, I’ve never seen a tipi fire like Juan built in South Carolina.

FML! Just found out this morning I tested positive for COVID-19. Felt like hammered dog shart since last night & took a test this morning. Go to the doc tomorrow morning to confirm it & see what my treatment options are. Because of the isolation protocols & masking requirements I will probably miss the hang.

Generally you should isolate for approximately 10 days after symptoms. But always follow your health care providers instructions. Take care, if you can't make it you can't make it.

Yeah. Symptoms started last night, so 10 days of isolation would take me to next Saturday...right in the middle of the hang. Will see what the doc says. Don't want to infect any one of you fine people!

Hope your symptoms are not too much sore throat and fierce congestion. What ever you do, don’t get no Army doctor! Get a Navy doctor or in a pinch, get an Air Force Nurse!
