Quilt questions

So now that I have my hammock done I need some quilts. I have one I bought for colder weather so I am thinking about warmer weather stuff. First question is I am thinking about using the ION fabric from Dutch. Any experiance? I'm considering this for a first quilt due to price. Second is I'm thinking about doing Sew through(I think that is the right term) instead of baffles for my first. i will be using reclaimed down from a pillow. Any advice would be appreciated.

Ion is a great fabric for a first time quilt project because it is a 20 denier fabric, making it a little easier to sew. If you're making a summer quilt sewn through construction is a good option.
