In old age, posture has not been a priority.
In honor of life giving rain, I’ll don my booney hat and stand tall as younger days.
As long as I’m ramrod tall, without slouching, my booney hat will keep me dry as a bone.
Absolutely no need for umbrellas or rain jackets.
If I got paid to tell lies, it wouldn’t be as much fun
Edit: I’m not very good at reading weather forecasts.
Looks like some rain, but very little rainfall in inches?
I dunno.
I’ll be here regardless!
And get a kick out of reading campers excuses why they are not going
“I have to take my mother-in-laws’s ferret to the vet”
“Something came up at work”
“I have to repair lawnmower”
I’m bringing some bacon, but might not eat any
Usually camp cooks burn the bacon
I like bacon half cooked!

Not sure If I'm going to be there. I have an appointment with the chiropractor later today. We'll have to see how I feel after.
Back home after camping, at Santee State Park, with Palmetto State Hangers.
Great vendors came and camped with us! Saw lots of YOBO Cricket hammock stands, as well as Hive stands that hold two hammocks.
Nicest people in world. Midnight Bacon Wow!
Thank you, all dynamic people who worked hard to get this hang off the ground.
I met the nicest people, and got to see old friends.
Maybe 75 to 100 hammock campers! I think rain on Wednesday and some rain Thursday scared some potential campers from going. But weather got better and better with time.
