I don't have a stand, and was wondering if there's enough trees to hang?
There should be trees to hang from in several different areas depending on your likes and needs.
If you want to be in the middle of the action, there are less trees and the earlier you get there, the better the chance.
Don't like crowds so much, move farther out in the campground but still limited trees.
If you like to have less traffic, go to the South side of the road to the no frills area in the primitive area. There are a lot of trees out there but a lot farther out. Early arrival means the pick of the crop.
With so many hangers coming, the earlier you get there, the better the chance to get a nice pair of trees but we can't guarantee anything. Luckily, there are a lot of hangers that will bring stands anyways because they like to be closer to the action. A sturdy set of hammock stands can even get you out in the fields where there are almost no other hangers (or even tenters)

Sounds like a good idea.
BTW I think they will appreciate the warmer climate you can provide. We had a snowstorm last week closing half the country for several days. Not normal for us but it has happened before in the past. Only people my age can remember 😉
