    Nama Gear Pole Gaurdz Warning!

My first use of the Nama Pole Gaurdz dropped me to the ground in about 10 seconds I was using a trekking pole with the "hiking pole tip set" from Warbonnet. I was not injured when the Pole Gaurdz failed, but my trekking pole tip was bent. And the insertion hole of the Pole Gaurdz is no longer round.

In an email exchange with the folks at Nana Gear, I was told "The Pole Guardz are designed to be used without any additional hardware." However, on the website it states, "Pole Guardz will accomodate stock spreader bars, carbon fiber spreader bars, standard trekking pole tips and any other pole tip up to 1/4" in diameter."

I suggested that they issue a warning about this incompatibility of their product, since the description on the website indicates "any pole tip up to 1/4" in diameter" will work. I received no indication that they are considering doing that. So take my loss, due to their defective product as a warning.

    Use with caution!

    Nice.

I have exchanged emails with this individual. I will leave it at that.

As always, if anyone has any question about the use of the Pole Guardz, or any of our other products, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Hopefully y'all have had the chance to celebrate National Hammock Day properly!
