USA to UK forwarder - suggestions please

I'm interested in buying a hammock\tarp from a USA-based maker, but they can't ship to me in the UK due to VAT regulation. They suggested using a forwarder, so I'm wondering if anyone can recommend one, and also let me know roughly how much it would cost.

Another USA maker quoted me $125 to send a $100 11oz tarp, so I suspect a forwarding service might make sense for buying hammock gear from the USA.

I forward to Australia using comgateway.com, and they list the UK as a destination.

When I first used the service, I was able to consolidate packages to save on shipping, but more recently Australia has denied consolidating from more than one source. I don't know if the UK has any similar requirement, but if not, that is helpful for saving on shipping.

They charge me taxes and import duties, so the goods 'just arrive' after I ship them.

I have no other forwarding service to compare with. I'll be interested if someone provides a better recommendation.

Thanks very much. I'll have a look at those.

When I searched online, Stackry was the first one which came up, but when I entered the details of a ficticous parcel, the actual shipping cost to the UK seemed quite expensive.

I saw that MyUs.com advertise lower shipping rates, but I've not had a chance to look in any detail.

(Just to add that MyUs seems to get poor reviews!)

Henge Hammocks import some US stuff, Hammockgear and Dutchware from memory plus others, if you haven't come across them before. I've bought smaller items from them.
