    Happy Fourth of July Everyone
    Things are warming up.

The campsite does not appear to have been used nearly as much as in years past and I would advise looking up before choosing a hang spot.
The hatchery and facilities will be closed for some time. It is about to undergo a 2 plus year renovation/ rebuild.
Hope to see you there, Tim. I will try to remember to bring your wind pants. Yeah, the enchanted forest has been encroached by grass and weeds.

And just like that I'm out.

Remember that scene in The Godfather when the movie producer wakes up in bed covered in blood? That was me yesterday, though not quite that bad. My surgery site from early May had filled with blood & burst open while I was sleeping Tuesday night having never fully healed. So, back to the VA hospital all day yesterday I went. Now I'm restricted the next 30 days to no strenuous activity to include outdoor activities, long walks, yard work, etc. until the wound heals this time. It's bad enough the first 72 hours are complete bed rest - but at least it's at home & not in the hospital.

Slugger, that’s scary! I hope you are not in pain.
You could take a sip of whiskey, and pour a spot of whiskey on your wound to ward off infection.

Be good to see you again, you tell great stories

My current plan is to arrive Thursday late morning and depart Friday early morning. I’ll have Levi, but not Zoe on this trip.
