I hiked Cat Gap/John Rock Wednesday and the bridge is still out. It was a fairly easy rock hop over to the other side, but the creek wasn’t super high.

    Good Intel, thank you Foxpoop.
What's the status of the parking lot, building, rest rooms, hatchery?

Parking lot is all gravel now, but completely open. All buildings and rest rooms are still fenced off and closed. I doubt they will be open again for a while.
Here is what the stream crossing looked liked Wednesday. Like I said, we hadn’t had rain in about 48 hours or so when I crossed it. It could be much worse depending on recent rainfall.

I can do that rock hopping. John Rock is still a go! A very slow, heavy breathing stroll up the hill...but still a go!

thanks for the info, Kevin, see you soon, let's hope not a heavy rain and the creek stays low.

I’m going to try to make it Thursday or possibly Fri for 1 night. To add to Kevin’s intel, when we hiked to enchanted forest last Monday, the 3 log bridge above the creek at the campsite is missing 1/3 of the outer log as well as being slippery and not leaving me feeling terribly confident that it would hold up under more than ~250# on it at a time. The campsite does not appear to have been used nearly as much as in years past and I would advise looking up before choosing a hang spot.
The hatchery and facilities will be closed for some time. It is about to undergo a 2 plus year renovation/ rebuild.
