Hoosier early Halloween Hang October 20-21, 2023

Hang will be at Hoosier National Forest at Brown Hallow area. We had a great group at the Spring Hang. Had 3 first timers. Hope they return along with others who couldn't make it.

Out of state Hangers are welcome to attend. Farthest distance in the past was North Carolina. We have regulars from Illinois, Kentucky and Tennessee.

Have great summer and see you in the fall!

The opinions expressed by this user are not those of a competent individual. If they were that would mean I know what I am talking about.

Sounds like this one is right up my tree! Certainly closer than Hangcon in Fl, but I’ll be back at that one too!

I plan to be there as long as my wife doesn't share COVID with me again.

Ok. My daughter & I are planning on coming. This is our first Hang with you all. Besides the obvious of hammock, tarp, UQ, & TQ bc it’s Fall, what else do we need to bring?

Based off of prior threads, water may be an issue. I've never personally been to Brown Hollow though.

There has always been water the times I have been there. But, as usual, current rainfall will dictate.

With recent weather, I would not suspect water will be an issue, but we still have 3 months to go.
