Not super well. I can stuff my 20° TW in a "M" Sea to Summit compression drybag, but that's pretty harsh. I prefer to carry it in a "L". These are the outdated version so I don't know the actual capacity but probably in the 16 - 20lt range.
I only carry it when vehicle or kayak camping, though I do live in it all winter. SLD stuff is great. I have a lot of his gear and a bunch of custom stuff. I totally think his quilts spoiled me for other designs. That why when the light weight, down, 3/4 length, 40°, summer quilt experiment failed (and I did try modding the suspension from day 2) I just had it turned into one of those "insulation on a UQP" style quilts.

This sounds great. Could you post a picture of what this setup looks like?

"I've found some success with the following trick. I added a couple of prusiks to my SRL, one near the foot end and one near the head end. I then attached a piece of shock cord to each prusik."

I am also tall (6'6") with an extra wide hammock (12' x 72") and tried the same trick with routing the UQ suspension through prusiks. It helped, but I still have not found perfection. I am wondering if UQ's are just not as conducive to extra wide hammocks and wide angle lays?

You can try setting the UQ on a bias. That helps on angle a lot. See it at 2:39 in the video below. May give some insight.
