    That's correct. If I were to start at one end it goes from the first stake through the shackle on the end of the guyline, then down to the shackle that I have on the middle stake before returning to the shackle that I have on the guyline and going through it again and finally to the third stake.
    If I was using it w/ my UCR lines I wouldn't have the soft shackle on the end of the guyline, I'd just pass it through the loop twice instead. I would keep the soft shackle on the middle stake because it lets me do a round turn on the stake w/o binding up the dogbone.
