The UL tarp is durable and quite good in my experience. I also use it with my bridge hammocks (I just rotate the tarp 90 degrees). I have about 40 nights under it, no problems. No rips, tears, stitches coming loose, etc.

Thx for the info! (That's exactly what I needed to know!)
FYI: If you want to know what type a certain bear is, sneak up behind it and kick it. Then,
run like crazy and climb up a tree. If the bear climbs the tree and eats you, it's a black
bear. If the bear just pushes the tree over and eats you, it's a grizzly bear : )

Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me, either, just leave me alone.

It's even good in cold weather.

I was thinking of the amok tarp, but hadn't found anyone that has done this even though they advertise as such.

I need a new tarp for my warbonnet eldorado, but considered this because I also have a 90 degree. Does it actually give enough coverage for a gathered end? If you're using it for a ridge runner it must be planty big enough

Absolutely! It has plenty of coverage for an 11' gathered end, and probably could work for a 12' too, although I had not tried that. I quite like the tarp, and was pleasantly surprised at it's functionality.

Indeed! The tarp has a greater than 12' ridge seam length when strung up in that orientation, still with adequate side coverage near the ends.
