I’m fixin to go to The Gorge this weekend. Hope to see Gorge Rats and hear the unvarnished truth as only they can spout over coffee.

Most fun I had was when Hickery took us up to his secret mountaintop for a quick overnight with a thunder boomer rolling in on our campsite. I quit smirking about his oversized 16x16 Kelty tarp when we all gathered underneath the low pitch to cook and drink coffee as the thunderstorm rolled across our mountaintop ridge

Sadly I didn’t make it out but we were having a party up in the Roans all week. Actually every time we looked a over at the Gorge I’d say “man there’s some good folks out lollygaggin’ in hammocks in that valley” but hopefully will see you all at the next one!
