    Talking Bic (aka Hikingdad) returns....

Hey Hammock Forums! I haven't logged into the forums for many years now... my kids got older, work got more demanding, and I went to grad school. Well, all that craziness is starting to come to an end and I feel like I finally have time to get back out in the woods more. I think I'm going to start my Youtube channel back up too. Just wanted to say hi to the forum folks that really changed my life nearly 12 years ago!

Your past posts were so abundant I didn't realize you were missing. Or maybe time is really flying by.

Dude you're basically the whole reason I'm into making my own gear now! First your bridge hammock, then a backpack, then I bought a Juki, and now I'm multiple prototypes into both hammock and pack. And a down quilt, clothes, and a tent, and a tarp.....but your bridge videos were what kickstarted it for me.

I can't tell you how many times I watched, rewatched, and paused those videos. All these years later: thank you for publishing those.
Q: Does it get any better than kayak camping?

Man, that's awesome to hear! I loved my Juki when I had it! I look back at those videos now and laugh at how ridiculously bad the production value was.... glad the content helped though

Just wanted to tip my hat mate, just putting the finishing touches to a bridge hammock heavily based on yours and looking forward to giving a try this weekend.
