    Smile My First Order!

Placed my first order with a proper hammock vendor and super excited. Took advantage of the recent sale and am getting a 10ºF econ incubator to go with my DIY hammock, and couldn't help but add an underquilt protector, bug net and hangtime hook to my cart!

Congrats on the upscale purchase! If you're like me, you'll check the ship status at least daily now

Yes, back when typical shipping times were 8 to 10 weeks. That’s a lot of looking and hoping lol.

Ok, here's a tip from someone who has been using the hangtime hook for a while now. I like to take a small prusik knot and put it under the leading fork on the hang time hook, I also take one of the paper biners/clips that you utilize instead of paperclips and put that around the front portion. This does 2 things, it stops it from sliding so much when I get in and out of the hammock and keeps it on the ridgeline if it shakes up and down.

My first ridgeline was super thin and that was probably more of the problem, but these two things solved it. You may just want to utilize the prusik knot to keep it from sliding when you are not in the hammock because as always your mileage may vary.

    Hope this helps
