    Lawson where are you?

Bought a new Warbonnet Thunderfly today and read to outfit it with a Lawson Glowire CRL and guy outs. However everywhere I check they’re sold out of it? Anyone know if this is just run of the mill supply chain issues?

would hate to find a new line. Live this stuff it absolutely never tangles no matter how sloppily you put it away and it’s lights up the minute your light hits it from the right angle. There have been times I forgot I hung the hammock in the backyard and when I pull into the driveway all you see is a glowing spiderweb in the distance.

I use the 2mm glow as well as their bear line.

I just wrote to them recently and they said not only were they behind but that they had just moved. They said that they "should" be up and running mid to late March and said they would send me an email to let me know when what I wanted was in stock.

Good to know. Hopefully they’re moving to bigger and better. I like knots so zing it doesn’t really do it for me.

I like knots. I had 1.75 Zingit and knots tended to jam
Now I have 2.2 Zingit and knots work much better.
Usually tie tarp side guy lines to trees, fastened With Siberian hitch topped off with 3 stitches of monkey braid for stability.
It holds fast and does not let go
When breaking camp in rainy morning, just pull on ripcord (loose end) and Siberian hitch releases instantly.

Most people I camp with, use titanium goodness, hardware! That’s fine, we all get our tarps and hammocks set up stupendously!

I too would hate to find a new line, but that's exactly what I'm doing. I've told them the same, but I don't see any other option. Those who know me know I've been a HUGE fan of Lawson lines, even defending their early, rather slow shipping and frequently out of stock items. Communication with them has been like pulling teeth as of late, very difficult to get answers. Shame, I don't have a tarp that isn't rigged with their line...and a have "a few". Their 2.5mm Glowire is the perfect line for tarps, in my opinion, but the best line in the world isn't any good if ya can't get it.

I attempted to contact them, multiples times, and eventually was told essentially what you were. That was early February when they hoped to be up and running in "a few weeks".

Thank you so much for the info. I was wondering the same. Does anyone use the glowire for thier CRL or is it primarily for the tie outs?

I use it for everything, very easy to rig up and even with king CRL does not tangle.

Found one website GoHunt that has 50’ of blue 2mm

I know I should just buy it but was waiting for green.

Ripstop by the roll has Sterling Rope 2.75 mm GloCord in 2 colors and a 1.5 mm Poly/UHMWPE Reflective Cord in neon. I'm done waiting...

Our uhmwpe reflective line holds knots well. Alas, we only have black and orange, but it's an option.
