Either I did not pay attention, or someone bough a lot of Lawson line recently.
well. half of hammock forums was apparently hitting "refresh" on his website all this time, every 5 minutes or so. most of the remaining half, you warned them. well done :P

now if lawson gets confused and decides to buy the boeing facilities where they used to make the 737, to meet the growing demand, we will all know who's to blame, now, won't we.

Whew! I saw he had some cordage recently too. He's already selling out of a lot of it though.

Managed to snag some beefy 5mm glowire for a big popup screen house we just got for car camping.

I'm not going to lie - this post gave me the desire to try the cordage out
I'd previously been using some reflective 1.75mm cordage (I forget where I bought it - it was a few years ago) with Line Lock Hooks, and it works okay. I ordered some of the 2mm "we think it's Glowire" from Hammockgear and hope to try that out this week with the Line Lock Hooks on the tie outs for my tarp.

The whoopies are from a reflective whoopie line he used to have.

I had the same thought. I've been using Line-Loc 3s with some Dutchware reflective cord (Reflect It?) that came with my Dutchware Hookworms a few years ago. I think it's 1.3mm, which is on the small side for the Line-Loc 3s. 2mm would do the trick for me.

His cordage is worth every penny. Its amazing how much nicer I find it to work with and how strong it is.

My tarp tie outs are 5.5 ft in length with about 8 inches of cord attached per Blake's Hitch. An Ashley Stopper knot prevents the Blake Hitch from sliding off the tie out. Lawson 2mm Glowire is perfect for this setup. The friction hitch holds up well and the line almost never tangles.

This thread convinced me to buy some 2mm "Reflective Guy Line" from HG last night. I bought 100ft and will outfit a new WB Minifly with a ridgeline, and retrofit my stakes/LineLoc 3s from 1.3mm cord to this new 2mm cord.

I tried to buy from the Lawson Gear site, but the stuff I wanted was not available unfortunately.
