I picked up a "sticky" Hive in the New Year's release. I'm still trying to understand the set up with the Ridgerunner. Are people here using it at full extension on the top poles? The first set up video did not have a whole lot on all the settings and when to use the other stops in the top silver pulling line.

I set up the "upright" poles at the 3rd hole down and the "horizontal" bars at full length. I use a beetle buckle suspension too, because it allows me to get as close as possible to the hubs.

As far as the other stops in the cross-wire between the peaks go, I have found that you really have to play with settings to figure out where to put the stop. For all my hammocks other than the Amok Draumr, I've been able to use the "first" stop. I'd reach out to Cal and Kristen and see if they have any guidance. You're right; there's a lot of opportunity for more videos. Maybe one of the YouTubers into hammocks could figure that out for us.

    YOBO Gear Hive

I bought the Sticky Hive at HangCon ‘24. I loved it!

Sun night, when we cleared the large pavilion, we had a YoBo party. I attached my Haven Safari using Dutch’s camo straps. One side was buckles, the other side I used a Becket hitch.

And a BIG Thank You to Cajun for giving me tips and tricks on how to set up the Hive.
