    YOBO Gear Hive

The Kickstarter was fully funded in less than 10 minutes. Having seen this stand in person and in action. This is a must look at. @ hammocks sleeping side by side under the same tarp. Bridge hammock compatible. Bonus items from Dutch and JRB.

Very cool, but well out of my price range. Look forward to seeing one in person some day. That said, most hangs in this area come with plenty of trees.

I was able to get one at the early bird price of $649. After seeing the Cricket at the PSH Fall Sprawl, I started saving up for it, but decided to go with the Hive instead, given that it will fit my bridge hammocks. I may also spring for the Dutch tarp made for the Hive, if I can figure out how to come up with some extra cash. May have to sell a hammock or two first!

Actually had a Cricket in my cart when this Kickstarter came up. Less money, two hammocks, AND fits my longer hammocks and my bridge? WIN!

Now I'm just sad I won't have it in time for MAHHA ...

Thanks for posting this! Spent a lot of time thinking about it but finally got decided to go for it (and got the go ahead from my better half). Really excited for what this could open up for car camping especially as my kids get older. Or maybe even a hammock forum gathering in the future where all the trees are claimed.

Yeah, glad I saw this thread. Unlikely I’d have ever sprung for one at full price down the road. Been a while since I had to wait in anticipation of some new hammock gear

Never gave the Cricket consideration because I’ve been using 12’ GE hammocks for years, as much as I’d love a freestanding stand. Hive looks like a beast!

I started to see "real proof" pictures/video on the Indigogo website with bridge hammocks and am wondering if I missed the first round; or is the stand delivery running late or totally sold out first round? I'm still a skeptic that I'd get a real flat bridge lay but have no pictures of my setup in use with me in it so I have no idea what my Ridgerunner curves like when I'm in it. I supposing a wait to Hangcon in January to see it in action myself, but I just moved to a studio and would love to replace my bed with one if it really lived up to the claims. Price of a mattress about equals a Hive so I'd love the best of both worlds at home and on trips, of course. Anyone have on in hand now and have good results with it and a Ridgerunner?

I got my Hive on Friday and took it to a group hang in Virginia. Put my Ridgerunner in it, no problems. Was also able to test out having two hammocks side by side and although it certainly works, I won't be using it for that purpose.

Thank you both letting me know it is out there. Barring a government shutdown, I think Yobo plans to be at PSH in October so maybe I see it sooner than January.
