Those are some great suggestions.
Let me get with my group and I will narrow down some selections. I plan on posting a poll for everyone to vote.
Thank you all!!

Ok, after speaking with some other possible attendees I have made a quick survey. Please let me know which area you'd like to camp

If I make it or not- can't say for sure. BUT... I've been going down to Walnut Pointe for a few summers now with a group of friends and families.
Few years back I talked to them a bit and found out it's easy enough to book the group site. Since then I've been eyeballing it for a group hang of moderate size.
Private loop with a Pavilion, pit toilet, and two docks. $40 a night and no special requirements other than booking it. (IE- don't need to be a youth group or official organization)
About 4 tent pads and a large area of woods a dozen or two folks in hammocks could use. Parking mildly limited but only at that loop. Overflow parking could be arranged at the other parking areas there so worst case we could shuffle a few cars onsite.

Again- me personally- not sure. But great spot to put on everyone's radar here so figured I'd chime in.
Sounds like a really fun space!
I will keep the voting open until next week March 2, 2023 Currently Sand Ridge is in the lead

Are these drive-in locations or hike in? Much prefer to hike in and do some backcountry camping.
How about trails in the parks?

Great question! I prefer doing some backcountry camping, so that's what I was thinking. Guess I did not make that very clear. Weldon Springs has about a 3/4 mile trek to a few spots but you could make that a much longer hike if you'd like and they have a few really great trails. Sand Ridge has a ton of backcountry spots and miles and miles of hiking, I have only been four times now and enjoy it tremendously.
Walnut and Forest Glenn also were chosen based on other members submissions and all have a trail leading in.
Hello Countrybois, I will be ordering some items from you soon. I really enjoyed your site.
