Clark NX270 Ridgeline

I have been trying to search and find a way to add a structural ridgeline to my Clark NX270 to get a more consistent sag. Anyone have any leads or direct knowledge to share?

I've been trying to find out the same thing. It looks to me that I would have to put holes in each end to do it. I'm thinking about putting on an adjustable ridge line using the inside handles to see if I really want it. If I do I will put in the holes.

I sold mine but never needed the ridgeline. That said, the handles are tough enough to handle it if you wanted to use it as an experiment. If you DO opt for the holes I'd also put in a tiny set of grommets (preferably metal) to protect against tearing the thin material in the long run. It might also help with making sure any light rains don't get in if you aren't using a tarp.

What about attaching your ridgeline to the attachment points on your hammock? Either with carabiners or maybe a hitch? My first hammock did not have a ridgeline so I got some cord measured out the length I wanted and used carabiners to clip it to the continual loops at the ends of my hammock. That seemed to work okay.
