I have quilt hooks on my hammock (not the ridgeline). If your using quilt hooks you might want to consider leaving the primary suspension off the hooks on the end where your feet go so you can tuck your feet/knees into the UQ and under the suspension, thereby reducing the potential for air gaps on the foot end. Also, I also have an incubator and they are made with D rings along the perimeter. Try using a length of shock cord larks-headed to the knee-side D ring and thrown over your ridgeline to paired with the D-ring on the opposite side. This can provide additional tension to keep the UQ in closer contact with the hammock.
Thanks everyone for the replies. It's given me several things to try.
Shug, the first thing I do when I have a hammock question is go watch your video on it. There's always a video on it. I appreciate all your tutorials!
This as my backup plan if my adjustments don't work. I'm glad you mentioned this though, because as I was doubting the idea as I hadn't heard anyone else suggest it.
