I made a Camp Chair Underquilt

I decided that I needed a warmer camping chair, so I made an underquilt for my Helinox backpacking chair. Took an old Costco packable down throw and worked it around the chair. I used 1-1/2 inch webbing for the access points for the chair frame. It's still rough around the edges, but it kills all that cold air coming in thru the chair mesh.

I really like what you did! I may copy it.

Funny, because I made my own "rough around the edges" COSTCO db top quilt. Excellent when it's 50°+

I've made a couple of those Costco top quilts too. They are great.

I just take my super lite Gossamer Gear Thinlight foam pad and push it into my chair, and then sit. It's not a classy as your work, but I was going to carry the foam pad as a sit pad, and it adds plenty of warmth.

That's a beautiful underquilt you made.

Clever! Definitely would be useful on fall car camping trips.

Another option is this chair quilt can be added onto/into your UQ. Adds some loft and warmth on an unsuspected chilly night. Or set it inside your TQ.
    Good work

Wow…that doesn’t look rough around the edges at all! I love it!
