I’m very much a side sleeper at home, but have been trying to cultivate more back sleeping in my hammock. It works better in my Ridgerunner, but I can manage it in my Trail Lair.

I visited NC and the outer banks once (as a pedestrian, not a diver) - A LOT of underwater wrecks (according to the poster I saw in a gift shop).

Knowing that all boats rock in the swells, no matter how big (you'd never see that in Adventures in Paradise), it would be interesting to support a hammock on deck. And the Stars! What a view that would be at night.
On my back almost always but on rare occasions on my side.

I've tried hanging a hammock on our workboat and even in a small swell offshore it would start swinging and keep getting worse. Maybe if it was super calm it woud work.

I can totally see a use case for having one strung up while in port/at the marina. I wonder what it must have been like for folks in the Navy to sleep in these.
