I think it was FlHanger that kept the fires going and we were grateful for that.

I didn’t meet a single rude person, and I finally got to see some turtle dog stands in action. Now I want to make one.

We also learned how to splice amsteel into continuous loops. I forget who led the morning session, but i think it was R&R Hammocks. very cool.

we stayed out in the primitive sites and it was nice, dark, and quiet.
That was Trevor from Hanging High Hammocks that led the morning class.

    3. Meals are prepared for you except lunch. So there's that. Or you can purchase lunch from our BBQ vendor.
4 There's usually a lot of kids of all ages so be prepared for them to want to run off.

    See ya there.
Hey hanger. A big shout out to you for your hard work this weekend, along with those helping to split the wood, to keep us all warm. This was my first HangCon and first time hammock camping. I will be back in 2024.

Thank you. I am honored and, of course, absolutely a pleasure to be allowed to run the fire pit for all y'all. I try to find different setups nightly to give you something to look at and enjoy. Hopefully there will be less wind next year.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you

First time at HangCon and already a Tier 3 winner. Congratulations on winning the Bandit, it's a really nice quilt. It took me 12 years to finally win Tier 3 this year.

Thank you to all the Vendors that made it to HangCon 2023. Your presence was quite awesome and a treat to see all the new gear for this year. I was able to purchase a few small items I needed and y'all came through. And the donations to the raffle from all Vendors present and in spirit, y'all rock. Sooo much hammock bling, fabric and downy goodness everywhere.

This is where I can finally step in and send my personal "Thank You!" To Enlightened Equipment for the 10* Revolt V2 UQ in green. I used it Sunday night in what I was told was the coldest night at around 30* with very high humidity and some wind. Couldn't even tell it was cold out with that UQ. Now I can't wait to travel North to really test it. Thank you very much for your donation. This is probably the most important item I'm missing..

Had a wonderful time at HangCon 2023. Missed some friends that weren't there but enjoyed seeing others. Thanks to those of you helping to cut that green wood down to kindling. It sure helps when we're short of time. Danny from SuperiorGear and Jason y'all are a great help around the fire and I'm grateful y'all like to help. Hung out a lot with Sam and Annamarie from Batchstovez, and family, now that he finally found a way back to us. Can't wait for our other hangs, brother. Dutch, was awesome as usual but turned me on to the deadly Old Fashioned. Greg and Jen from Sugarlands, y'all are some of the best even away from work. We'll find the monkeys next year and see y'all soon.

I just wanted to thank everyone who made this happen. It takes a lot of time and planning to pull this off. Not to mention feeding the masses. Job well done to all.

I really enjoyed seeing old friends meeting new ones and all the gear talk. A special thanks to all of you who stopped by my table to learn about alcohol stoves and ask questions.
My 2 exchange students had a wonderful experience thanks to all of the wonderful folks who attend these hangs.

Shout out to Jacks_R_Better for the 40deg. Top quilt one of the girls won. Shout out to ripstop by the roll for the goody .

Jason from Walhalla can't thank you enough for the loan on the under quilt.

Timber & gumbo thank you for entertaining the girls they had a blast.

Cutty you left without saying goodbye. Thanks for helping me with setting up on Saturday.

Juan thanks for all your help and advice. The massive quad upside-down Saturday night. And the blaze on Sunday night. Was amazing.
We always have a great time .
