Sorry guys, I can’t make this weekend at Wildcat but I will be staying at nearby Burr Oak lodge fri/sat to hike with friends. Sometimes we do a short loop at Wildcat on Saturday, maybe I’ll run into you all.

I really have a love hate thing with Wildcat, it’s the section of the annual 40 mile EGGS hike that we do at night.

It’s nearly 2 hours for me to Hobo’s place or 3 if I head straight to WC and I’ll have an afternoon time commitment Sunday afternoon to make. I can’t say for sure if or when I’ll be on the road depending on my home commitments next Friday; I might have to pick up my grandson from school early afternoon. I’m planing to just meet you there as early as I can. I’ll txt Hobo with a Go/NoGo and ETA to loop y’all in.

FYI - I heard back today from the officials at Mohican. They said the Park-n-pack site will be closed for at least the next 4 months. Said they may even be moving some of the sites. So they are out for any planning for the next few months.

Sure, we might as well start. I have been semi-lurking here for years, but I have spent a lot of money on gear and want to use it. I keep waiting for my friends to get time, but it usually doesn't work out well, so when I saw this thread, I figured I'd respond. I just want to be outdoors more often.

So, yes, I can start one for March if you haven't yet

I need to bring you up to date. I have been hiking with a backpack since Sunday. I was really looking forward to tomorrow. This morning I just bent over and my back went out. I have been to the chiropractor and hoping I am feeling better tomorrow. I will let you know as early as I can if I will be able to come. If not, have a great time.
