    Haven XL tarp

I'm thinking of giving one of these hammocks a go. Wondering if its worth getting the tarp? Thinking my Thunderfly is going to be better in every way, so why buy their's? What do I know??

    Thoughts?

Someone in a Facebook group brought up he liked it because you don't have to stake it out. I feel like I would be claustrophobic like that, I like the open air, but each to their own.

I agree with SoaknWet. I didn't buy the tarp and glad I didn't. Since I have a gathered end hammock as well as the Haven, I use the same tarp for both. The Haven tarp may be ok in certain circumstances but my 12 ft tarp I always use gives me everything I need for either tarp.

I for sure bring a bigger tarp. More headroom and working/lollygag room.
You can see it use here and there in the video below.

Got the XL and the Tarp..

Not pleased, the tarp is not good and I bought a new tarp from DD, the XL 4.5m x 3m.
Spacious and doesn’t absorb water like the one from Haven.

Take care and hang out there!
