I have been out in the woods with my Haven Hammock down to 38 degrees and was quite toasty. Has anyone taken it lower (maybe 28 or so) without doing anything special? I don't want to invest in the pad cover but but I would try something cheap and light to get me down to 28 if I needed it. Just not sure how low the insulated pad will work and reaching out to anyone who has taken it lower than me. Thanks.

In 100 years it won't make any difference...
I'd just slip a CCF foam pad on top of the Haven pad for more insulation.
Can't remember the Haven pad rating. Pad on top an easy fix.

I got down in the teens but that was with their new XL pad but to me even more important ALL that pad noise is GONE.
I haven't pushed the Haven XL pad to low. I go have a Thermarest MondoKing XXL (perfect fit), R rating of 7 and super comfortable. I've been down unto the 20's with the MondoKing.
Haven has it listed as R4.
