Warning there prepping for a prescribed burn at yates
Not all those who wander are lost
I called Ranger Station in January to let them know when we camp on Time Change Weekend
I also reminded them again 10 to 12 days ago
If burn is real close to Yates, we might consider moving to another location.
Rangers might not be in charge of controlled burns.
Might be a different agency.
We can wait and see.

Edit: Burn is supposed to last 3 or 4 hours-today

Purely Phantom Guess: Hunt Club Camp at end of gravel road starting at 24/27 Trailhead, Mt Gilead NC is a possibility. There is a vault toilet at Hunt Club Camp

We should be OK at Yates. Will need to setup within 1st 100 yards on left side of road, or anywhere on right side of road.
