I’m heading up to the gorge Friday morning in case anyone is available would like to join. Plan to do the ITAYG loop from Wolfpit going CCW and crossing at Spence Ridge. Water levels are pretty low given we’ve been in drought conditions in western NC. Should make the two river crossings easier. Planning on 2 days/one night as there’s rain forecasted for Sat PM and Sunday.

Didn’t see anything yet but I’ll keep an eye out. Gorge weather looks good for hiking and hammocking Friday with temps in the mid to upper 50s and low 40s at night. Sat looks much the same until the rain moves in for the evening.
