Bring food you enjoy eating for your own meals.
Saturday afternoon-evening we will have some campers cooking on site or reheating potluck meals to share with others.
You might want to bring something tasty for your potluck. It can be something you buy pre-cooked and then you can reheat. You might be able to use someone else’s stove. But you might want to bring your own propane stove.

Mainly don’t bring any food that is likely to spoil and give food poisoning.
Usually there is an excess of food.
But if you bring something you like, you might enjoy having leftovers on Sunday or midnight snack Saturday night.

Bring some cash for raffle tickets, which helps pay for firewood, porta-John toilet, and group site.

There is water at visitors center, but I bring all my own water for duration, so I won’t have to drive there and back.
Paper towels are great, and if not needed, can easily taken home Sunday.

It’s a toss up, several different weather forecasts online.
Looks like rain at lower elevations and snow possible on mountaintops and ridges.
I’m ill prepared to be under big tarp or pavilion with a large group, as I’ve recently sworn off telling lies and now only have two small mugs coffee a day per medical studies!
Been getting better forecasts daily as we get closer to this weekend.
I was gonna bring my rain jacket, when all I really need is my booney hat.
Chappy, we’ve had snow before at Grayson Winter Hangs. Maybe maybe!

Y’all enjoy. I’d be there if I weren’t out of town. Not been getting enough hammock time in lately.

Having to bail on this one.

This time no deaths in the family like those that are keeping me out of uwharrie. This time is was the death of my furnace. These things are getting expensive.

    Have fun and stay warm!
