Sleeping Bag Liner - Polartec® Alpha® Direct with Wool 4048

New fabric choice at Ripstop by the Roll.

I am thinking that this product might be a good choice for a sleeping bag liner to wick away body vapor and help to keep down sleeping bag interiors cleaner.

Polartec® Alpha® Direct with Wool 4048 @ $30.00 /yd which (from RSBTR)... Polartec code 4048, and this fabric is a mix of 63% Polyester, 33% Wool, and 4%Nylon.

By no means a Vapor Barrier, so perhaps 4-yards of this might be the cat's meow.

Looks like a really interesting fabric. Like you said a good bag liner, or potentially a less bulky fleece alternative.

I have the Senchi Design Wren hoodie that's made from it. I love it. Only 3.4 oz but very warm. It's very breathable. I've used it as the only layer in colder months while hiking. You can pretty much see through it. It's not all that durable though. I'm not sure about its wicking ability. It feels kind of gross when I sweat in it. Great material for a breathable fleece mid layer.
