First motorcycle camping trip Kisstchie Bayou Louisiana

Picked up a used Honda 500x a month ago. Mostly to have a little fun and do some camping exploring.

This was about a 3 hour ride to the campground in Kisatchie National forest. No hiking just testing where I can fit my gear. Had a blast riding. Got soaked by a rainstorn on the way home, but it wasn't cold so no big deal.

Looks great! Love the bike, and I love motorcycle trips. Motorcycle camping trips are even better, it's the best of both worlds.

Going to put some grippy tires on next year. I was a little worried if it rained getting out on the dirt roads would have been a true adventure.

Nice. Looks like a beautiful spot. I'm looking at a foot of snow in the yard and 4 or 5 months of icy roads. I love winter, but seeing these pictures do kick up the slightest angst. :-D
