Sorry to get your hopes up about that skillet, but I have some unfortunate news.
It’s looking like it will be a last minute decision on if I go or not.
We took the kids to a trampoline park this past weekend, and the wife is pretty confident they will be 100% sick by this weekend.
Me going is gonna depend on if one of them pops a fever between now and Friday afternoon, so it’s best not to plan anything reliant on me going.
I am not going to be able to make. Life came up. All that stuff that happens when you're making other plans.
Y'all have it pretty rough up there right now.
Okay, should it just get pushed back a week at this point then?
This is a lot of last minute problems for people.
I was wondering the same. The storm Tuesday night dropped about six inches of wet snow where I live in south-central Missouri, and it's likely that the Bell Mtn. area got a similar amount. I did a little cross-country skiing around the homestead this morning (Thursday) and there's only 2-3" left on the ground with bare spots in many places. Roads are clear and dry. The current forecast for the weekend is low 50's Friday and Saturday, 30's overnight, 60% chance of a shower Sunday morning.
As posted above, a couple of folks that were planning on coming to the FBH tomorrow can't make it, so naturally I'm wondering who all is still going? I'm packed and ready but need to know if anyone else is still in. Alternatively, like AniOutdoor said, we could bump this to next week if there is any interest in doing that. Whoever is still planning on going tomorrow, please post your intent. Likewise, if you think you'd be able to make it Feb 3-5, let us know that as well. Thanks!
So far my kids don’t have fevers, just some really runny noses and a cough now and then.
I have micro spikes to wear on my shoes, so a bit of ice on trail doesn’t bother me, but pushing it back a week to the weekend of Feb 3-5th would be my choice if given the option.
Also looks like a bit colder temperatures then too.
