    I'm in for the 11th-12th trip. I'm good with any of those destinations. Haven't been to any of them in winter.

    So are we settled on Kawartha Highlands? If so, does anyone have a spot in mind or are we researching parking etc?

    Hey BGMoose!

    The times we've trekked into the Kawartha Highlands P.P. we've parked at the trailhead here. From there we've taken the trail through rolling forest to Sucker Lake. A couple of us have camped along the north shore, but there's a good site along the southern shore at the end of an offshoot of the main trail.
    Survival is about getting out alive, Bushcraft is about going in to live - Chard (aka Forest-Hobo)

    To make it worthwhile I would probably pack in Friday noon time and take off Monday.
