Who’s up for some chilly camping with some warm chili?
This is the official facebook page for the 8th Chili Butt Hang at Turkey Run Ridge group campsite in Prince William Forest Park, Triangle, Va.
The 2022 hang at this site was a great success, so we'll return for the 2023 hang. I’ll have sites G, H and I reserved for Friday-Sunday.
We’ll do communal Friday evening Chili.
Please sign up on the google spreadsheet about what accompaniments you would like to bring for the chili. Saturday breakfast is individual, but feel free to bring extra to share with others.
We had great success with getting pizza from a nearby pizza joint, so we can do that again. Or we could also have another chili night.
There are excellent hiking opportunities within the park with miles and miles of trails accessible from the campsite or a short drive elsewhere in Prince William Forest Park.
Here's the Google spreadsheet will calculate how much each person attending will owe me to cover the cost of the campsite. Each new hanger added to # in your party will lower the cost for each person.
