    Color Options

I just received my Whoopie Slings in the mail today and they look amazing.

I ordered black but it looks like a dark gray more than black, is this normal?

Yep.. Its not really black. Thats what Samson calls it, though and its pretty close. When the black first came out it was closer to black than the current run. But they got crazy with the dye and put to much on. It was cakey and would flake off the cord.

I got some from opie and they were fairly gray.

I also bought some "Gunmetal Black" Whoopie Slings from Arrowhead, which I were *hoping* would be more... well... black.. but they were pretty much the same as the ones I got from opie (whoopieslings.com)

    Bummer all the way around.

We both use the same line, thats why the colors were the same.

Colors do vary from batch to batch. Ive got some "red" thats actually pink.

Also, they haven lightened up the gray considerably. It is approaching Silver, IMO.

Still works for me, just didn't want a bright color.
