Looking to trade my UGQ Renegade TQ for a similar spec cottage vendor TQ with a sewn footbox. The snaps/drawstring on the Renegade serve their purpose, but I never open the quilt into full blanket mode and am hoping to save a bit of weight in my backpack (every gram counts).

Specs for the Renegade:
  • 20 degree
  • 950 fill
  • 78" x 52"
  • Moroccan blue M10 tafetta inside
  • Charcoal gray HyperD 1.0 outside
  • Fully contoured and has a full differential
  • Loops for ground pad attachment
  • Snap and drawcord footbox
  • 553g/19.5oz total quilt weight (not website weight ... that's real weight on my scale)

There are no issues with the quilt (no punctures, frays, rips, or stains, and the snaps, draw cords, etc. all work as intended)

For the trade:
  • Obviously, I don't want anything heavier than I already have (sort of defeats the purpose of the trade).
  • And I need at least a 20* quilt. I'll consider lower temp-rated quilts, but I doubt any would come in lighter.
  • I'm willing to go shorter since I don't ever pull the quilt over my head, but I'm tall ,so I can't go too short. I'd prefer a quilt to match my height (at least 74"), but would consider a 72" quilt.
  • I can't really go narrower. I'm also big guy, and the Renegade's 52" is already pushing the limit on minimum width for me.
  • I'm easy on my quilts, so I'm willing to take the risk with thinner materials (either or both inner and outer)
  • I'm not hung up on colors or extra amenities like draft collars or ground pad attachments. I'd actually prefer that it doesn't have any extras ... again, to save weight.
  • And I'm willing to overlook minor blemishes, but have to draw the line at actual damage.

I'll toss in the stuff sack that came with mine as a bonus if that makes any difference. I don't use them and wouldn't need one in exchange..

I realize I'm probably reaching here and looking for a unicorn, but I'm hoping that maybe someone out there bought themselves a similar quilt with a sewn footbox, is regretting not having the versatility of a drawstring footbox, and would be willing to make an even swap. If you have something that fits the bill, but you believe an even swap isn't completely fair, there may be ways I can sweeten the pot a bit (let's discuss).
