    *2023 - 12th Annual Winter Yeti Hang Jan 20th - 22nd 2023*

    2023 - 12th Annual Winter Yeti Hang - Frog Lake Campground Jan 20th-22nd - 2023
What - 12th Annual Winter Yeti Hang
    When - January 20th- 22nd 2023
Where - Frog Lake Campground, Oregon
Why - Why Not......See you there!!!!

It's that time of the year again and I'm excited to put together another group hang. The hang takes place at the campground of Frog Lake. It is a short hike in from the right side of the snow park as you enter. I will have flagging tape with "Yeti Hang" written on them leading the way for the ones that have never been there before or that show up at dark. Also don't forget your 3 day Sno-Park pass (which can be bought at many locations in Oregon) and 2 or 3 bundles of wood or more!!!!!I look forward to seeing all of you there!!!!

    Let the conversation begin!!!!!

I am very tempted but afraid my insulation might not be up for snowy camping. What temperature rating is recommended? My Wooki is 20°. Though I have a wise owl 40° (guessing) that I could layer it with. I am not much of a winter camper unless it is a nice day in the coast range (which can be about the same summer or winter)

The 20 degree is ok for some (many? most?). That’s what I used until my 0 degree setup came along. Shug has some videos on layering, YMMV but that may be an answer.
