Feet Left or Feet Right?

This is an interesting thread.

Feet left, head right.

I write right handed, guitar right handed, shoot hockey left handed, bat right handed, golf left. I think the reason I have my head right is that I’m blind in my left eye. I have a much better field of vision that way.

In our Scout group we were all talking about how we all lay with our feet laying to the left of our heads in our hammocks. We did not attribute it to being due to left or right handed due to we had some of both in the group. None of us knew of anyone that slept feet right. My thought is that when driving (in the US) everyone approaches their vehicle on the same side. Maybe subconsciously we are kind of doing the same thing with the hammock. Doing it the opposite way is weird to me, I've tried.

Any thoughts? Do you sleep feet left or feet right?

I'm head left, feet right. I'm pretty sure that was what was in the Hennessy Hammock instructions the first time I'd ever been in a hammock. I just did what I was told and now that's what feels right.
