    Cold snap

Having a little cold snap so I am car camping.
31 when I got up this morning. Tonight 26. Low of 38 tomorrow, 48 the next.

Great sleep, great day, even my own camp cooking starts tasting better once it's cold at night versus in the summertime.

Your tarp looks massive, what is it?

That is my 3# fortress of severe storms.
Golden Armour brand. $30 a couple of years ago.
    Insane number of tie outs.

I don't normally have trouble getting it tight against my Ridgeline as long as I get at least a 17 foot spread

68° here while I drink mine. For what the temps have been this year that's cold. Hoping to get a two day bikepacking trip in next month before I have to consider taking my 20° UQ. It sure takes up a lot more room!

Looks like a great time without any worry about noisy neighbors! Hate to ask, 'cause I just looked at that tarp online, have you had that tarp out in an extended rain before? It's hard to ignore that price point - I'm looking for a larger tarp to cover my RidgeRunner.

OverTheHill - I had the exact same question and was also considering for my RidgeRunner. Were you able to find one with doors or just one long to be able to fold the ends in to close it off?

    Sorry for the late reply.
I have used it for multiple day rains in a row.
I built a stand to use it as a cabin even.
I have had it for a while now and it is my severe storms tarp.
    Downside is the weight.
