NC > Pisgah > Deep Gap/Pilot Mountain

[El Gordo]

I'm thinking of a trip to Deep Gap and Pilot Mountain, starting with the Davidson River Trail; then on to Daniel Ridge to Farlow Gap to Art Loeb trails. Coming back would be taking the Art Loeb and Butter Gap trails. Who has done this? Any wisdom to impart?

Check with the Mountain to Sea trail guys. That I believe is there trail. They should have great info on it. I did Pilot Mountain toward Hang rock a few year ago.
