WI, Da Shack, Halloween Hang, October 28 - 29, 2022

Hey All- I can't make it up (wife having a surgery) but I was just passing this thread along to a bridge customer and figured I'd say hi to my Wisconsin friends.

This fella lives up in Oshgosh (as we southerners say it) was talking about drinking rock-n-rye to make his hammock comfortable, winning a chili cookoff, wearing Wool Bibs and generally good and proper wisconsin behavior that should endear him to the folks at Da Shack so figured I'd point him your way.

I can join in the festivities. I’ll get there Saturday morning around 10 to 10:30. I’d be happy to make my five cheese Mac & cheese or supply the remaining fixings for the walking tacos or provide financial support. What makes the most sense? How many people are showing up?

I am bringing 5lbs of taco meat, black olives, onions, fritos, bowls, and forks

Throw your thoughts on how many people will show up. It could be anywhere between 6 to 20 people. Could be more. All are welcome. Does not matter as we will share where ever possible. That is one of the many blessings of a group hang. Adapt, improvise, overcome as needed... T

I can attest that we have never, ever run out of food. Mostly by the time folks bring a little something, it becomes A LOT to eat. On the occasion that something was truly needed (eggs for instance), there's a grocery store a few miles away.

Weather-wise, it was as good as it gets. No wind, no rain, no bugs and stars galore. Glad you could join us, JeffP, and same to all who were there. It was a very, very good hang.
