A few years back I hiked it clockwise from Peavine Swamp trailhead.
First day was drive and hike, stayed near the shelter on Bear Mtn. Second night was Dog Pond, which I don't recommend. Third at Olmstead Pond, which was fantastic, and then High Falls (which are about 10ft tall
) where the camping was also great. The next night I had planned to stay at the shelter across from Flatiron Point, but it was only 3-4 miles to the car at that point so I hiked out.
There are quite a few beaver dams and boggy areas, one really nasty piece (at least when I was there) between High Falls and Wanakena.
Cat Mtn is a worthy little side trip.
Edit to add... I was not a hammocker at that time but I'd say it's all hammock-friendly.
